The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 40 HP, 1800 RPM, 3-phase, 60 Hz motor with a 324T frame and a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design, featuring a foot-mounted configuration. It is specifically engineered for inverter operation, capable of handling a constant torque speed range of up to 1000:1. This motor includes provisions for a stub shaft for a hollow shaft encoder, three thermostats for temperature monitoring, and all 440T frames come equipped with an ODE insulated bearing. The insulation system of the motor exceeds the NEMA MG 1-2006, part 31.4.4.2 standards, ensuring durability and performance. It provides continuous constant torque down to zero speed, making it suitable for various applications such as conveyors, extruders, printing lines, converting processes, and test stands where constant torque is essential across a wide speed range.
