The 5/16-18 x 1 1/2 Six Lobe Pan Floor Board Screw is a Type F fully threaded screw with a black phosphate finish. Designed for thread-cutting applications, these screws are suitable for heavy gauge sheet metal, aluminum, zinc and lead die castings, cast iron, brass, and plastic. When using stainless steel, the material into which the screw is cutting threads should have a lower hardness by 10-20 Rockwell hardness. The pan head design allows for substitution in most applications for round, truss, or binding heads.
