The 1/4-20 x 1 six lobe pan floor board screw type F is a fully threaded black phosphate screw designed for various applications. This thread-cutting type-F screw is suitable for use in heavy gauge sheet metal, aluminum, zinc and lead die castings, cast iron, brass, and plastic. When working with stainless steel, it is recommended that the material into which the screw is driven has a hardness lower by 10-20 Rockwell hardness. The pan head design is versatile and can easily be substituted in most scenarios for round, truss, or binding heads.
