The 1/4-20x2 1/2 Six Lobe Flat Floor Board Screw Type F features a black phosphate finish and is designed for use with heavy gauge sheet metal, aluminum, zinc and lead die castings, cast iron, brass, and plastic. These thread-cutting Type-F threaded screws are optimal for applications where a lower hardness material of 10-20 Rockwell hardness is used in stainless steel. The flat head design ensures that protrusion of the fastener above the mating surface is minimized, typically at a 100-degree flat for general use or 82 degrees flat for fastening softer materials.
