The 1/2-13x1 1/2 Six Lobe Flat Floor Board Screw Type F in black phosphate is designed for use in heavy gauge sheet metal, aluminum, zinc and lead die castings, cast iron, brass, and plastic. The thread-cutting Type F threaded screws are specifically engineered for materials with a lower hardness by 10-20 Rockwell hardness when used in stainless steel applications. These flat head screws are ideal for situations where the protrusion of the fastener above the mating surface is unacceptable, featuring a typical flat angle of 100 degrees or, for fastening softer materials, an angle of 82 degrees.
