These motor start capacitors are dry, electrolytic, non-polarized types designed for intermittent duty in AC motor starting circuits. The round cases are constructed from moisture and oil-resistant molded phenolic resin or plastic, featuring standard dual blade terminals. They are rated for a 3-second start and can handle up to 20 starts per hour. The operating temperature range is from 40° to 65°C (-40° to 149°F). These capacitors meet or exceed the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) standard RS-463 type 2 and operate at 50/60 Hertz. Additionally, they are UL recognized and CUL approved, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
