These motor start capacitors are dry, electrolytic, non-polarized types designed for intermittent duty in AC motor starting circuits. The capacitors feature round cases made of moisture and oil resistant molded phenolic resin or plastic, and are equipped with standard dual blade terminals. They are rated for a 3-second start with a capability for 20 starts per hour. The operating temperature range is from 40° to 65°C (-40° to 149°F). These capacitors meet or exceed the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) standard RS-463 type 2, and they are recognized by UL and approved by CUL.
