These motor start capacitors are dry, electrolytic, non-polarized types designed for intermittent duty in AC motor starting circuits. The capacitors feature round cases constructed from moisture and oil-resistant molded phenolic resin or plastic, and they are equipped with standard dual blade terminals. They are rated for a 3-second start and can handle up to 20 starts per hour. The operating temperature range is from 40° to 65°C (-40° to 149°F). These capacitors meet or exceed the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) standard RS-463 type 2 and are suitable for use at frequencies of 50/60 Hz. Additionally, they are UL recognized and CUL approved.
