The Master Lock security kit features patent pending BlockGuard anti-shim technology designed to withstand attempts to violate the latch mechanism. The kit includes a combination chart for lock system administration and a control key for supervisory access, with the option to specify a key that matches an existing system or one that is factory assigned. The lock has a robust 1-7/8" (48mm) wide double-reinforced stainless steel body, providing resilience against abuse, and a 3/4" (19mm) tall hardened steel shackle for added cut resistance. It incorporates an easy 3-number dialing system with an automatic scrambling feature to prevent the reopening of the lock. All Master Lock locks are non-returnable, and locks for Master Lock lockers can only be purchased through an official business or organization account. When ordering, it is necessary to indicate if the lock is for a new or existing key system by selecting "Master Lock" in the drop-down field. For existing key systems, the control key number must be specified in the key number field, and if a new key system is needed, the control key must be ordered separately. A master key is sold separately.
