The lock features a secure 3-number combination mechanism with 5 preset combinations designed for a longer useful life, and includes standard key control for supervisory access. It is compatible with all lockers except for those requiring a wrap-around latch, and employs a manual deadbolt locking system, making it ideal for open mesh and ventilated lockers that allow access to the back of the lock, specifically for left-hand hinged doors. Note that all Master Lock locks are not returnable, and purchases must be made through an official business or organization account. When ordering, customers must specify whether the lock is for a new or existing key system by selecting "Master Lock" in the drop-down field; if it is an existing system, the control key number must be provided, whereas a separate order is required for a new control key system. The Master key is sold separately and can be ordered as needed.
