The lock features patent pending BlockGuard anti-shim technology that withstands attempts to violate the latch mechanism, ensuring enhanced security. It includes a combination chart to facilitate lock system administration and a control key for supervisory access, allowing for specification of a key to match an existing system or to use a factory assigned key. The lock body is 1-7/8" (48mm) wide and made of double-reinforced stainless steel to withstand abuse, while the hardened steel shackle measures 3/4" (19mm) tall to provide extra cut resistance. It offers an easy 3-number dialing system with an automatic scrambling feature to prevent reopening of the lock. All Master Lock locks are non-returnable, and locks may only be purchased through an official business or organization account. Customers must indicate if they are using a new or existing key system when ordering. If using an existing key system, the control key number must be specified, and if a new key system is required, an additional control key must be ordered separately.
