Chassis mount SCR controls are equipped with a free-wheeling diode and feature adjustable acceleration, deceleration, current limit, IR compensation, and minimum and maximum speed potentiometers to suit various applications. The anti-demagnetization features protect permanent magnet (PM) motors and safeguard the SCR power bridge against direct shorts. These controls possess UL and cUL component recognition for safety compliance. The chassis SCR control system includes a BC152 signal isolator and a BC143 heatsink, both factory installed. It is important to note that a plug-in horsepower resistor and an armature fuse must be ordered separately and installed in all versions of BC141 and BC142 controllers; horsepower resistors should be chosen according to the motor's rated current.
