Chassis mount SCR controls are equipped with a free-wheeling diode and include adjustable acceleration, deceleration, current limit, IR compensation, as well as minimum and maximum speed potentiometers to accommodate various applications. These controls incorporate anti-demag features to protect permanent magnet motors and to safeguard the SCR power bridge from direct shorts, while also boasting UL and CUL component recognition. The product features a dual voltage option and includes the BC143 heatsink kit, which enhances the drive's capabilities, enabling it to handle up to 1.5 HP at 90 VDC or 3 HP at 180 VDC when the heatsink is added. It is important to note that a plug-in horsepower resistor and armature fuse are required for all configurations of BC141 and BC142 controllers, with horsepower resistors needing to be chosen based on the motor's rated current, which are sold separately.
