Chassis mount SCR controls incorporate a free-wheeling diode and are equipped with adjustable acceleration, deceleration, current limit, IR compensation, and minimum and maximum speed potentiometers to suit various applications. These controls feature anti-demagnetization capabilities to safeguard permanent magnet motors and protect the SCR power bridge against direct shorts. The units possess UL and CUL component recognition for compliance. The chassis SCR control operates on dual voltage and is supplied without fuses; however, optional fuse holders are available. The BC143 heatsink kit can be added to enhance the drive's output power capabilities, enabling the unit to manage up to 1.5 HP at 90 VDC or 3 HP at 180 VDC when installed. It is important to note that a plug-in horsepower resistor and armature fuse must be ordered and installed for all versions of BC141 and BC142 controllers, with horsepower resistors selected based on the motor's rated current, sold separately.
