The Baldor-Reliance DC control offers full wave SCR control with a free wheeling diode (NEMA Type K) and operates at 115/230V with a power range of 1/50-2 HP. This DC SCR control is equipped with a field power supply that facilitates its use with shunt wound DC motors as well as permanent magnet motors. Key features include adjustable acceleration and deceleration settings, current limit adjustments, IR compensation, and configurable minimum and maximum speed settings. It also features a current limit indicating LED and a 5K speed potentiometer for precise speed control. An anti-demagnetization circuit is included to protect permanent magnet motors and provides additional safeguarding for the SCR power bridge against direct shorts, while a noise rejection circuit helps eliminate false starts and blown SCRs. This control is UL and CUL recognized, making it suitable for applications such as conveyors, mixers, packaging machinery, and other variable speed and constant torque needs, and it is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure.
