The galvanized steel floor grating upgrade features a floor load capacity of 250 PSF and includes slip-resistant planking that measures 13 inches wide and is constructed from 12-gauge galvanized steel with raised perforated buttons and debossed holes that protrude downward. This floor planking is designed for maximum corrosion resistance, particularly above the sump area, and is capable of sustaining a minimum uniformly distributed load of 250 pounds per square foot. Both the floor planking and supports are removable, allowing for easy sump cleaning in the event of a spill. It is important to note that customized building options and additional accessories must be purchased alongside the building for manufacturer installation. Additionally, state approval may be required; therefore, it is recommended to consult with local authorities, such as the fire marshal, to confirm if state approval and/or state seal are needed.
