The Camshelving Elements starter unit features four shelves with antimicrobial Camguard protection that is permanently molded into the shelf plates, allowing for easy cleaning either by wiping or through a commercial dishwasher. Each shelf has a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) for 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelves and 600 lbs (272 kg) for 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelves, with an overall unit capacity of 2,000 lbs (907.2 kg). This unit can withstand a temperature range from -36°F (-38°C) to 190°F (88°C) and includes four posts, two sets of post connectors, wedges, traverses, dovetails, and vented shelf plates. The unit is NSF listed and made in the USA, and all Cambro Camshelving products are rust and corrosion proof for life. The shelf plates can be easily lifted away without disassembly and have the flexibility to rearrange traverses and plates without the need to disassemble surrounding components. The shared post design allows for seamless add-on units to be integrated without sacrificing space or carrying capacity, with the stipulation that add-on units must be from the same Camshelving series.
