The Camshelving Elements starter unit features four shelves with antimicrobial Camguard protection permanently molded into the shelf plates, which can be easily wiped clean or fit through a commercial dishwasher. Each shelf has a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) for 24-48" (61-122 cm) lengths and 600 lbs (272 kg) for 54-72" (137-183 cm), with a total unit capacity of 2,000 lbs (907.2 kg). This unit withstands temperatures ranging from -36°F (-38°C) to 190°F (88°C) and includes four posts, two sets of post connectors, wedges, traverses, dovetails, and vented shelf plates. It is NSF listed and made in the USA, ensuring rust and corrosion resistance for life. The design allows for easy lifting of shelf plates without any need for disassembly, while traverses and plates can be rearranged without affecting surrounding components. The shared post design permits the addition of units without wasting space or reducing carrying capacity in a straight line, and add-on units must be compatible with the same Camshelving series.
