The Camshelving elements starter unit features four shelves with antimicrobial Camguard protection that is permanently molded into the shelf plates for enhanced hygiene. The shelf plates are designed for easy cleaning, either by wiping them down or fitting them through a commercial dishwasher. Each shelf supports a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) for 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelves, 600 lbs (272 kg) for 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelves, and offers a total unit capacity of 2,000 lbs (907.2 kg). This unit is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -36°F (-38°C) to 190°F (88°C) and includes four posts, two sets of post connectors, wedges, traverses, dovetails, and vented shelf plates. The starter unit is NSF listed and made in the USA, ensuring compliance with high standards. All Cambro Camshelving products are rust and corrosion proof for life, and many Cambro accessories as well as add-on units are exclusively compatible with their specific Camshelving line. Shelf plates can be easily removed without disassembly for cleaning, while traverses and plates can be rearranged without needing to disassemble surrounding components. The shared post design allows for the addition of units in a straight line without sacrificing space or reducing carrying capacity.
