The Camshelving Elements Starter Unit is a four-shelf storage solution featuring antimicrobial Camguard protection that is permanently molded into the shelf plates, allowing for easy cleaning, either by wiping or through a commercial dishwasher. Each shelf can hold a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) for 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelves and 600 lbs (272 kg) for 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelves, with a maximum unit capacity of 2,000 lbs (907.2 kg). The unit is designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -36°F (-38°C) to 190°F (88°C) and includes four posts, two sets of post connectors, wedges, traverses, dovetails, and vented shelf plates. It is NSF listed and made in the USA. All Cambro Camshelving is rust and corrosion-proof for life, and many accessories and add-on units are specific to their Camshelving line. The shelf plates can be easily lifted away without disassembly, and traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembling surrounding components. The shared post design permits additional units to be added without occupying extra space or impacting carrying capacity. Add-on units must be compatible with Camshelving of the same series.
