Ultra-Filter Socks® are designed to prevent harmful substances from entering the stormwater system, making them ideal for use in front of storm drains, around downspouts, in gullies, and ditches, or in any area where there is a risk of stormwater runoff contamination. Each sock features a woven polymer casing that ensures rapid water passage while the internal filtration media effectively removes pollutants. The socks are available in 9-foot lengths and possess a high UV rating for extended durability in sun and weather conditions. Users can overlap units for longer coverage, or utilize multiple filter socks to address varying contaminants or large quantities of a single contaminant. The looped ends facilitate staking the units in place and enhance portability. For specific applications, the activated carbon model is available, which is effective in removing certain chemicals, hydrocarbons, and odors. These products are compliant with SWPP regulations and are classified as EcoSmart, proudly made in the USA.
