Ultra-Filter Socks® are designed to prevent harmful substances from entering the stormwater system, making them ideal for placement in front of storm drains, around downspouts, in gullies and ditches, or any area susceptible to harmful stormwater runoff. Each sock features a woven polymer casing that facilitates rapid water passage while the internal filtration media effectively removes pollutants. The socks are available in 9-foot lengths and have a high UV rating, ensuring extended durability against sun exposure and environmental elements. Units can be overlapped for increased coverage, and multiple filter socks can be employed when addressing multiple contaminants or large quantities of a single contaminant. Looped ends enhance stability by allowing the units to be staked in place and assist with transportation. The SORB 44 variant specifically targets the removal of oil and other hydrocarbons and helps meet SWPP regulations. These products are EcoSmart certified and proudly made in the USA.
