Ultra-Filter Socks® effectively prevent harmful substances from entering the stormwater system and are designed for use in front of storm drains, around downspouts, in gullies and ditches, or any location at risk for harmful stormwater runoff. Each sock features a woven polymer casing that facilitates quick water passage while the internal filtration media removes pollutants. The socks are available in 9-foot lengths and boast a high UV rating for durability under sunlight and various weather conditions. Users can overlap units for extended coverage, or utilize multiple filter socks to address multiple contaminants or large quantities of a single contaminant. Looped ends are incorporated for secure staking and enhanced transport. The PHOS filter variant excels in phosphorous removal and helps meet SWPP regulations.
