The Ultra-Drain Guard® is engineered to filter stormwater waste before it becomes a problem in the water system, serving as an effective storm drain filter that removes contaminants such as litter, sand, and oil from stormwater flow. The kit includes a geotextile fabric designed for easy installation, making it ideal for industrial facilities, construction sites, and parking lots prone to stormwater runoff that may carry oil, eroded soil, debris, and fuel contaminants from vehicles. Installation is straightforward: simply lift the catch basin grating, insert the Drain Guard into the opening, and replace the grating while pinching the fabric to secure the unit in place. The Ultra-Drain Guard® exceeds 80% sediment removal efficiency and the oil and sediment model is capable of removing up to 0.87 gallons of hydrocarbons, along with dirt, sand, and other contaminants. This product also helps facilities comply with NPDES, SPCC, and TMDL regulations.
