The Ultra-Drain Guard® high capacity model is designed to capture large amounts of sediment and oil, featuring heavy-duty, needle-punched geotextile material that absorbs oil, grease, and other hydrocarbons while capturing up to 300 lbs. of sediment, dirt, and debris. Installation is straightforward with grating and retainer bars (which must be purchased separately) to secure the unit in place. It includes large, 3" wide polyester handling straps that facilitate the removal of full units, although the use of backhoes, forklifts, or other equipment is recommended for units laden with significant amounts of silt, dirt, and sediment. The skirt measures 60" x 60" and fits almost any drain up to 54" x 54", with the option to trim excess material if necessary. This product aids in compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999) when employed as a best management practice in SWPPP. It is proudly made in the USA.
