Ultra-Dewatering Bags® are designed to contain the sediment and oil extracted during dewatering operations. By pumping water into the bag, various pollutants such as silt, dirt, and sand are trapped and filtered, allowing only clean water to escape to the ground below or into nearby storm drains. These bags are capable of detaining both oil and sediment, providing specific advantages over other dewatering solutions. They accommodate a discharge hose of up to 4 inches, making them versatile for different applications. The use of these bags aids in compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations, specifically 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), when implemented as a best management practice in stormwater pollution prevention plans. Additionally, custom sizes are available to meet specific project requirements, and they help ensure adherence to SWPP, BMP, and TMDL requirements.
