The Ventamatic® Solar Gable Fan, model VX2515SOLUPS, is a solar powered gable mount power attic ventilator featuring an 18 volt, thermally protected DC motor that delivers up to 1,000 CFM, making it suitable for attics up to 1,500 square feet. The fan is equipped with a heavy-duty galvanized steel flange and 14-inch high-efficiency fan blades. It includes a 12.6 watt solar panel, which is housed in high-impact tempered solar cell casings that resist hail, flying debris, and impacting winds. The silicone crystals in the panel are encased in an anodized aluminum frame, and it comes with a 25-ft power cord featuring easy connect clips. The DC motor is backed by a 5-year limited warranty, while the solar panel carries a 10-year limited warranty. To enhance ventilation, additional solar panels can be linked to this unit, and it requires a minimum of 400 square inches of net free air intake vent area. The fan is completely pre-assembled for straightforward installation behind static gable louvers and is not compatible with the CX2121 automatic gable vent.
