The Ventamatic VX1000SOLDOMBRN is a brown solar-powered roof mount power attic ventilator featuring a solar panel mounted on the top of the dome. It is equipped with an 18-volt, thermally protected DC motor and 14-inch high-efficiency aluminum fan blades that provide up to 1000 CFM, making it suitable for attics up to 1500 sq ft. The unit includes a heavy-duty galvanized steel dome with a brown powder-coat finish and an expanded steel mesh grille designed to prevent access by birds and rodents. The package includes one 12.6-watt solar panel and roof-mounting brackets. The high-impact, tempered solar cell casings offer resistance against hail, flying debris, and strong winds, while silicone crystals are encased in an anodized aluminum frame. A 25-ft power cord with easy connect clips facilitates installation, and additional solar panels can be linked to increase the fan's CFMs. This exhaust fan requires a minimum of 400 sq. in. net free air intake vent area for safe and efficient operation. The ventilator comes with a 5-year limited warranty, whereas the solar panel is covered by a 10-year limited warranty.
