The modular design allows stacking of two, three, four, or five tiers, providing flexibility in storage capacity as additional units can be purchased later. Each unit can hold up to 500 pounds per tier, making them suitable for heavy items such as X-rays and medical records without risk of sagging or buckling. Constructed from heavy-duty 16 and 18 gauge steel, the units are reinforced with eighth inch channel steel for added durability. Additionally, the 18 gauge steel dividers are adjustable to prevent slumping and curling of folders, enhancing the overall rigidity of the unit.
