It is resistant to chromium carbide precipitation during exposure to high temperatures and can be used in furnaces up to 2240 degrees F. The tool wrap is specifically formulated to protect the surface of air hardening tool steels, creating an airtight envelope around your part that can be cut to fit, folded, and crease-sealed with ease.
