The Stainless Steel Shim is constructed from full hard, cold rolled, 300 series stainless steel, making it ideal for applications requiring corrosion resistance. Precision Brand® is the sole manufacturer providing Branded® shim, which features essential information clearly marked on the shim, including material type, material thickness, and lot number for full traceability. This shim is extensively used in conventional power plants, nuclear plants, oil and gas refineries, and desalination projects. It measures 6 inches wide by 50 inches long by 0.0005 inches thick and is suitable for applications such as tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, and the mounting of motors, pumps, and other machinery.
