The kit is made of type 321, soft annealed, stainless steel, designed to help protect from scale and oxide buildup during heat treating in atmospheric furnaces while eliminating decarburization buildup. It is resistant to chromium carbide precipitation during exposure to high temperatures and can be used in furnaces operating up to 2000 degrees F. The tool wrap effectively protects the surface of air hardening tool steels and features precut foil that creates an airtight envelope around your part. This product can be easily folded and crease-sealed, demonstrating durability as it will not tear easily during normal use.
