Transport rolls of carpet with our sturdy rug rams/carpet poles, which feature a 2-3/4" diameter high strength, rotatable, replaceable pole with a tapered tip. All units are made of steel construction and painted blue, ensuring durability. The fork-mounted rug rams include 7" wide by 2" fork pockets on 24" centers for easy handling. A safety restraint is included to secure the unit to the fork truck. It is important to note that the carpet roll must not hang over the end of the pole and must be loaded onto the pole with full contact with the mounting frame. Additionally, OSHA requires that you contact the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
