Transport rolls of carpet with our sturdy rug rams/carpet poles, which feature a 2-3/4" diameter high strength, rotatable, replaceable pole equipped with a tapered tip. All units are constructed from steel and painted blue for durability. The fork-mounted rug rams include 7" wide by 2" fork pockets on 24" centers, and a safety restraint is included to secure the unit to the fork truck. It is important to ensure that the carpet roll does not hang over the end of the pole and that carpet rolls are loaded onto the pole with full contact with the mounting frame. Please note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
