Transport rolls of carpet with our sturdy rug rams/carpet poles, which feature a 2-3/4" diameter high strength, rotatable, replaceable pole with a tapered tip. All units are constructed from steel and are finished with a blue paint for durability. The fork-mounted rug rams have 7" wide by 2" fork pockets positioned on 24" centers, and a safety restraint is included to secure the unit to the forklift. It is important to ensure that the carpet roll does not hang over the end of the pole and must be loaded onto the pole with full contact against the mounting frame. Please note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift for written approval prior to using any forklift attachments.
