The 2 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper D-200-HD has a 6000 lb. capacity and features a bumper release that automatically dumps the hopper when it contacts the side of the dumpster. The hopper returns to an upright and locked position automatically after dumping. It includes a four-foot cable that can be operated from the seat of the fork truck for manual dumping. A safety restraint is provided to secure the hopper to the fork truck. The usable fork pockets measure 7"W x 2"H, and the unit is stackable by positioning the top hopper turned 90° from the bottom. The hopper rotates approximately 68° and has a powder coat blue finish. Leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. This self-dumping hopper facilitates compliance with OSHA General Industry Rule 29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii) by allowing lift truck operators to remain at the controls during the dumping process. OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
