The 2 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper with bump release D-200-LD has a 2000 lb. capacity and automatically dumps when the bumper release contacts the side of the dumpster. After dumping, the hopper returns to an upright and locked position automatically. The package includes a four-foot cable allowing the operator to manually dump the hopper from the forklift seat, along with a safety restraint to secure the hopper to the forklift. The usable fork pockets measure 7"W x 2"H, and the unit rotates approximately 68°. It features a powder coat blue finish, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. This self-dumping hopper helps facilitate compliance with OSHA General Industry Rule 29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii) by enabling lift truck operators to remain at the controls during the dumping process. OSHA requires contacting the forklift manufacturer for written approval before using any forklift attachments.
