The self-dumping hopper automatically dumps when the bumper contacts the side of the dumpster and returns to an upright and locked position after dumping. It includes a four-foot cable that can be operated from the seat of the fork truck to manually dump the hopper, and a safety restraint is provided to secure the hopper to the fork truck. The usable fork pockets measure 7"W x 2"H, and the hopper is stackable when the top hopper is turned 90° from the bottom. Units rotate approximately 68° and feature a powder coat blue finish. Leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. This design facilitates compliance with OSHA General Industry Rule 29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii) by allowing lift truck operators to remain at the controls throughout the dumping process. OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
