Car pans are constructed without a rolled edge, leaving the top edge unfinished which may be sharp enough to cut dough. The pan allows for sheeting of dough, which can then be placed over the pan and precisely cut off with a rolling pin or pie roller. Made from heavy weight 14 ga., 1.5 mm aluminum, the pan features a top outer diameter (OD) of 19 inches (48.3 cm), a bottom inner diameter (ID) of 18 inches (45.7 cm), and a depth of 11/16 inch (1.7 cm).
