The 42 Belt Drive Whole House Fan features a 1/2 HP two-speed motor operating at 115 volts, designed to efficiently cool your home by moving air at 85° to create a cooling effect equivalent to still air at 78°. This fan includes a wall switch, automatic belt tensioning, and is equipped with a deep pitch four-wing blade for maximum air movement. It incorporates rubber mounted, sealed fan shaft bearings and a rubber vibration damper between the fan and the wood frame to ensure quieter operation. Constructed from heavy gauge steel with welded seams, the kit includes a wooden plenum box, a rubber mounting gasket, and a 2-speed switch, although it does not come with a ceiling shutter or a 12-hour timer.
