The high speed steel ground threads TMX hand tap features straight flutes and is available in three chamfer styles: taper chamfer with an 8-10 thread chamfer length, plug chamfer with a 3-5 thread chamfer length, and bottoming chamfer with a 1-2 thread length. This kit includes a #6 - 32 H2 set of 3 taps, comprising one each of taper, plug, and bottoming chamfer. The hand taps are made from high-speed steel (HSS), are ground, have a right-hand (RH) design, and feature 4 flutes. Ideal for a variety of machining applications, these hand taps can also be used by hand.
