The High Speed Steel Ground Threads TMX Hand Tap set includes three taps, each featuring a different chamfer style: taper chamfer with an 8-10 thread chamfer length, plug chamfer with a 3-5 thread chamfer length, and bottoming chamfer with a 1-2 thread length. This set is specifically designed for #10 - 24 H3 threads and consists of one each of the taper, plug, and bottoming chamfers. Each tap is made from HSS TMX, ground for precision, and has a right-hand (RH) orientation with 4 flutes. Hand taps are suitable for a wide range of machining applications and can also be used for manual tapping tasks.
