Designed for long life, Nova 4-way directional control valves feature a state-of-the-art air valve design that incorporates a single bonded rubber spool with finely ground sealing lands, allowing for minimal movement of only .047" (less than 1/16th of an inch). This efficient design not only assures long valve life but also generates sufficient flow to power a 4" bore cylinder. The valves are equipped with dual exhaust ports and 1/4" NPTF porting, producing a substantial output flow of 57 cubic feet per minute at 100 PSI inlet pressure (CV=1.0). Each output port has an individual exhaust port for precise exhaust control. Additionally, all Nova valves come with a manual override feature, enabling valve actuation without the need for electricity or air to the pilots. They are designed for easy repairs, allowing for the complete replacement of all wearing parts within seconds without disturbing the piping or electrical wiring, requiring only a pair of snap ring pliers and a replacement spool.
