The JET JSG-6DC sander features a 12" disc and a 6" x 48" belt powered by a 1.5 HP motor, delivering raw industrial sanding capability. It includes two precision-ground cast iron tables with positive stops at 90° and 45° for sanding flat or mitered angles, allowing the belt sander to be used vertically, horizontally, or at any angle. The exclusive dual thumbscrew belt tracking adjustment locks the belt on track, enhanced by a tracking adjustment knob with a quick-lock handle. The graphite-covered steel platen runs cooler to increase both machine and belt life, while the specially designed belt guard offers full use of the 6" belt width and length. The drive drum is rubber-coated to improve grip on the sanding belt and reduce slippage. Belt changes are facilitated by a quick-release belt tension lever, and dust collection is managed through a single 4" dust port on the back of the base, effectively capturing dust from both the belt and disc. The sander also includes a quick-lock dust cover for the disc and a built-in handle for easy portability around the workshop. Warranty terms are standard as outlined by the manufacturer.
