The reel incorporates an external fluid path with a 90° full-flow dual ported brass swivel that allows for connections from the same side, ensuring maximum safety. The swivel seals are made from Viton®, suitable for oxy-acetylene or "T" grade welding hose. Designed with a single pedestal and space-saving structure, the guide arm can be adjusted for wall, floor, and overhead positions. It boasts a solid one-piece heavy gauge 1/4" steel base and support post for optimal stability, combined with a 1" solid steel axle and lubricated precision bearings for smooth operation. The exclusive Super Hub™ dual axle support system on certain models allows for controlled retraction speeds that are up to 80% slower on EZ-Coil® models. The enclosed and factory-tuned cartridge-style spring motor includes a non-corrosive stainless steel spring, pawl, and zinc plated ratchet, with a multi-position lock ratchet mechanism to secure the hose at the desired length.
