The new and expanded line of coupler brakes is designed for applications where mounting the brake between the motor and driven load is the preferred or most convenient location, making them an excellent solution for integrating a brake into existing equipment without the need to replace the motor. These brakes feature rugged construction available in cast aluminum or cast iron, suitable for most industrial applications. Coupler brakes are specifically designed for C-face connection on both ends and are not intended for applications involving overhung loads on the output shaft.
