The Sub-FHP AC gearmotors are designed for continuous duty in general purpose applications, with all models rated for 60/50 Hz operation, except for the hi-torque single-phase which operates at 60 Hz only. Each gearbox features a rugged aluminum die cast housing for enhanced support of gears and bearings, and precision machined gearing that is hardened to maximize load capability. The gearing is designed in accordance with AGMA class 9 standards and is capable of withstanding momentary shock overloads of 200%. These gearmotors are equipped with oversized output bearings that provide greater overhung load capacity and extend operational life. A high-carbon alloy output shaft ensures maximum strength and rigidity, while all needle bearing journals are precision-ground post heat treatment to achieve optimal finish and fit. Additionally, single lip, spring loaded, heavy-duty industrial oil seals are included to maintain lubricant integrity and prevent dirt ingress. The gears and bearings are splash lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil.
