The kit includes Sub-FHP AC gearmotors that are totally enclosed and designed for continuous duty in general purpose applications, rated for 60/50 Hz operation, except for the hi-torque single-phase models which operate at 60 Hz only. The gearbox features a rugged aluminum die cast housing that provides maximum support for both gears and bearings. It incorporates precision machined gearing that is hardened to ensure maximum load capability, with all gearing designed and rated to AGMA Class 9 standards, capable of withstanding momentary shock overloads of 200%. The gearmotors are equipped with oversized output bearings which enhance overhung load capacity and longevity. Additionally, a high-carbon alloy output shaft is utilized for maximum strength and rigidity. All needle bearing journals are precision-ground post heat treatment to achieve optimal finish and fit. The design also features single lip, spring-loaded, heavy-duty industrial oil seals that effectively retain lubricant while preventing dirt intrusion. Gears and bearings are splash lubricated with permanent heavy-duty gear oil.
