Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications, offering versatility for various environments. These cranes are suitable for installation beneath large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple work stations, in outdoor applications such as loading docks, and in machining and assembly operations where overlapping jibs can facilitate staged operations. The boxed style head assembly allows for pre-installation of the head before the boom, reducing required installation clearances and maximizing hoist lift, while also enhancing stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe designs, resulting in less deflection. Precision tapered roller bearings ensure smooth operation and longevity, and full supporting triangular baseplate gussets minimize deflection by replacing traditional struts. Each crane includes bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel and is pre-engineered for use with powered hoists, allowing a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% allowed for impact, ensuring full rated capacity use of the jib. The large baseplate and included special chemical anchors eliminate the need for a foundation, although templates and the hoist trolley are not included.
