Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications, making them our most versatile option. They can be effectively placed under large bridge cranes, in open areas to service several work stations, and in outdoor applications such as loading docks, as well as in machining and assembly operations where they can overlap with other jibs for staged operation. The cranes feature a boxed style head assembly that permits the installation of the head prior to the boom, facilitating reduced installation clearances and maximizing hoist lift. This design enhances stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe designs, resulting in less deflection. Equipped with precision tapered roller bearings, these cranes ensure smooth operation and longevity. The full supporting triangular baseplate gussets minimize deflection instead of using struts. Each crane comes with bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel and is pre-engineered for use with powered hoists. A loading factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity is allocated for the hoist and trolley weight, along with an additional 25% allowance for impact, ensuring the full rated capacity of the jib is available for use. The large baseplate and special chemical anchors, which are included, eliminate the need for a foundation. Please note that templates and hoist trolley are not included.
